Our History

A brief history about MBA, and our plans for the future.

MBA Consulting Engineers were formed over 40 years ago. Our principal activities are the design of Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, Sprinkler Systems and Insulated Structure Installations, along with all of the specialist service elements that these packages require.

The purpose of MBA Consulting Engineers is to be fully integrated into any design team to cover all aspects of building services design to the highest levels, inclusive of 3D modelling and BIM technology.

We are experts in the design of new developments and/or refurbishments in all markets, including; e-commerce, commercial, industrial & Logistics, residential, hotel, leisure, and mixed-use developments.

All of our design engineers are highly motivated, skilled, and experienced building services engineers that offer second to none expertise and innovation across various market sectors.

Our whole team ensure high levels of communication and integration with the wider design team to ensure a seamless design from concept through to completion.

All design solutions are tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring that all building services follow the RIBA Plan of Work Stages and Project Strategies.

All drawings are completed using the latest CAD, REVIT/BIM software to enable us to maintain our high standards.

We can provide tender information from performance RIBA Stage 3 up to full detailed design services to stage 5.

We carry out utility due diligence services which can typically include existing services analysis, loading assessments and advice on new infrastructure implications including cost advice.

Our head office is located in Milton Keynes with Engineers located in various areas providing full national coverage. Our project experience not only covers all of the UK but we are currently working on projects in the Middle East and Asia.

Over the last 20 years, our experience has extended into specialising in automated warehousing, projects for the e-commerce market covering general merchandise, clothing, food and beverage distribution markets.

Working closely with our clients, we provide a service that is second to none based on high standards of engineering and a commitment to cost-effective solutions maximising the longevity of equipment whilst minimising running costs.
