Automated Warehouse – Bradford
We were appointed by Marks & Spencer to integrate into the fit out design team for the building services requirements to provide an automated solution for the M&S BWS solution along with a full fit out to the Northern office block for staff and operational facilities.
The building footprint was sub-divided into three chambers and incorporated multi-tier mezzanines installed in various areas which increased the operational footprint of the facility.
Our role involved a close working relationship with the automation team to integrate the building services and fire protection into the automation design.
We were involved from concept to completion on the project that incorporates multi-level conveyors, shuttle systems along with a mini-load system.
The Northern office block project was unique as it was the first distribution centre office to accommodate a passive cooling system for the office areas, including night time purging of the spaces.
