Manufacturing Facility – Woking

We were appointed by Johnston Sweepers to perform the design for the building services associated with the Developers Base Build, Tenants enhancement and fit out of a new manufacturing facility located in Woking.

We were responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical design works for the new building including the integration to the assembly line[s]. The manufacturing process incorporated the engine assembly, vehicle body and chassis cleaning process, spray booths and testing facilities.

Due to the nature of the facility, part of the remit was to ensure that building services were flexible and kept away from the manufacturing assembly line. This required close co-ordination of all services both above & below ground, as well as exhaust extraction to enable engines to run within the building.
